About Me

My name is Jabiz Raisdana. I have a B.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and an M.A. in TESOL from Teacher’s College, Columbia. I have seven years of teaching experience overseas and have also taught for two years at a high needs high school in New York City. I have taught Language Arts and Humanities.  I can also  teach Journalism, Global Issues, Geography, and Drama. I am currently the MS/HS ESL teacher at  Sinarmas World Academy in Jakarta.

I love teaching and cannot think of any other job that I would rather have. I far more enjoying spending time with young adults than grown ones, and I feel sorry for people who do not have the time to spend with kids.

Jabiz – I am looking for a Hero bike, second hand preferably. I see you have a vid riding one around Doha. I am based near Ramada signal and looking to pick one up.

Any ideas on where in Doha?

    Cheers

    Pete

Hi I was at your blogging, wikis, Google spaces unconferenced chat. I have just got back to Hangzhou and am now looking at your site. OH MY I am totally impressed! This is amazing. I have been trying to find the right method for sharing my own thoughts and ideas but also finding a good one for my art students. I love how everything is together in one place. I noticed sometimes you are using wordpress and other times eblogger is there a reason for that? Would you recommend this for me? I am just starting out. I have an art blog but it is through my school when I leave the school it will be erased as they are changing systems, that really upsets me. I like the idea of having something that lasts where no one will be erasing it. It will be able to carry over from school to school no matter where I am in the world.

On another note my husband and I are thinking of Columbia for our next teaching job, would you recommend it?? THANKS I am so glad I went to your workshop.

  4. Having browsed this I thought it was rather informative.. I cherish you
finding the time to put this material together. I must say, I most likely spent about two hours on your website.

Oh well, it was still worth it.
